Mid Mod Glass

It all started with the search for a replacement for a broken plate. During the search I became enraptured with most things mid century and beyond.  Suburban living,  cocktail culture, atomic space age design all came together as a glimpse into the future.  Designers of the time, such as Georges Briard, Fred Press, Culver, Gay Fad and others allowed us to take a peek into the futuristic world of entertaining.  I started collecting because of this  and continue today. I enjoy the wit and whimsy of finding new items and introducing them to new  generations. Plus I get to have some great barware myself.
